From his early days of five-minute open spots on the open mic stages of the greater Fitzroy area and running the cult comedy room Stagetime with Michael Chamberlin, Charlie has gone on to travel the world telling his jokes to an ever growing audience and critical acclaim.

He is a versatile standup, as comfortable performing to 3000 people at the Falls music festival as he is taking on Edinburgh’s infamous ‘Late n Live’ at three in the morning. As a club comic he has worked the circuit in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK, headlining some of the world’s most famous clubs.
As a festival act, Charlie has performed sold out shows at festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, New Zealand, South Africa and Edinburgh, as well as selling out a solo run on London’s West End.
These shows have seen him nominated for and won awards in Melbourne, New Zealand and Edinburgh, where he was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award for best newcomer to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
